Warner Springs 92086

warnerspWarner Springs takes its name from Jonathan Warner. Warner immigrated to California in 1831. He received a land grant for the Rancho Agua Caliente in 1844. The ranch became a famous station on the immigrant trail. A small community formed there which was the forerunner of today’s Warner Springs. Today, Warner Springs remains a quiet country town nestled between the Cleveland National Forest and the Anza-Borrego Desert. Warner Springs is near Lake Henshaw where fishing is a favorite sport.
